Six players from SD Eibar Fundazioa have been called up to represent Spain at the IFCPF World Cup 2026 in 7-a-side football, scheduled to take place in the United States from October 14 to 25. The selected athletes are Borja Pombo, Martín Ruiz, Víctor Varea, Daniel Ibarra, Yerik Martínez and Sergio Rueda, all members of the club’s foundation team. Spain has been placed in Group B alongside Australia, Brazil and Chile, with twelve nations competing across three groups. This edition marks the first time the IFCPF World Cup will feature both male and female teams in a single phase. The Spanish squad aims to strengthen its status among the world leaders in this discipline, following the three league titles historically won by the SD Eibar Fundazioa team.
